U.S. Energy Secretary Wright: The U.S. currently has 415 million barrels of oil reserves and plans to increase them in a year.

PANews reported on March 12 that U.S. Energy Secretary Wright stated that the U.S. currently has 415 million barrels of oil reserves and plans to hold even more in its strategic petroleum reserves a year from now. President Trump is concerned about rising energy prices in the short term. The release of strategic petroleum reserves is partly intended to ensure near-term oil supplies to the Asian region.
