The Israeli military has set three basic conditions for reaching a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon.

PANews reported on April 16 that, according to CCTV News, on the evening of April 15 local time, Israeli sources stated that the Israeli military had set three basic conditions for reaching a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon: the Israeli military demanded the establishment of a buffer zone extending to the Litani River and a ban on Hezbollah activities in the area; the Israeli military demanded complete freedom of military action north of the Litani River, aimed at eliminating the threats facing Israel; and the Israeli military demanded the disarmament of Hezbollah through long-term steps under US supervision.
