PANews reported on April 16 that US President Trump stated: "I just had a very good conversation with the President of Lebanon and Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel. The two leaders agreed that, in order to achieve peace between their two countries, they will officially begin a 10-day ceasefire at 5 p.m. Eastern Time."
