Media reports differ on whether Vance will participate in the resumption of US-Iran talks.

PANews reported on April 19 that, according to ABC News cited by Jinshi, the US Ambassador to the United Nations stated that US Vice President Vance will lead a US delegation to Pakistan for talks with Iran.

According to the New York Post, President Trump said in an interview with the newspaper that his special envoy Witkov and his son-in-law Kushner would travel to Pakistan to negotiate with Iran, but Vice President Vance would not participate in the negotiations.

In addition, according to Reuters, White House officials said that U.S. Vice President Vance, U.S. Presidential Envoy Witkov, and Trump's son-in-law Kushner will travel to Pakistan for talks with Iran.
