In response to the U.S. State Department's recent statement that the U.S. launched a war against Iran "in self-defense," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghae posted on social media: "So-called 'self-defense,' who are we defending against? Has Iran launched any 'armed attack' to give you an excuse? Absolutely not! So this is not 'self-defense' at all—this is a naked act of aggression against the Iranian state."
