PANews reported on May 6th that, according to CME's "FedWatch," the probability of the Federal Reserve maintaining interest rates unchanged by June is 94.2% (previously 94.2%), and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 6.1% (previously 5.8%). The probability of the Federal Reserve maintaining interest rates unchanged by July is 87.9% (previously 84.1%), the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 11.7% (previously 15.3%), and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points is 0.4% (previously 0.6%).
Following the release of the ADP data, the probability of the Federal Reserve maintaining interest rates unchanged in June is 93.9%.
