PANews reported on June 2nd that, according to Xinhua News Agency citing Iranian media reports, the application system for vessel passage permits in the Strait of Hormuz is now fully open, allowing ship owners and captains worldwide to submit applications at any time of day, 24 hours a day. The report states that ships can submit their applications for passage through the Strait of Hormuz via an electronic system established by the management authority. Upon approval, vessels will receive a passage permit.
