PANews reported on June 5th, citing PR Newswire, that Nasdaq-listed data center developer CleanSpark released its May 2026 operating data and announced the appointment of Ruben Sahakyan as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance, responsible for capital markets, financial planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Sahakyan previously served as co-head of investment banking for digital assets and infrastructure at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, participating in over $20 billion in transactions. In May, CleanSpark produced 671 Bitcoins, averaging 21.66 Bitcoins per day, with a peak operating hashrate of 50 EH/s, utilizing approximately 808 MW of electricity. The company's Bitcoin holdings increased from 13,453 at the end of April to 13,470, during which time 654 Bitcoins were sold at an average price of $79,934. The company also stated it is moving towards a multi-gigawatt AI and digital infrastructure platform.
CleanSpark produced 671 Bitcoins in May, with 654 sold during the period.
