PANews reported on June 6th that, according to TechStartups, Nvidia announced it has acquired Kumo AI, a software startup focused on predictive artificial intelligence, for over $400 million. This acquisition will further expand Nvidia's AI software portfolio and strengthen its competitiveness in the enterprise predictive analytics market.
Kumo AI, founded in 2022, develops basic models that can directly process structured data in enterprise data warehouses, helping companies quickly complete tasks such as customer churn prediction, fraud detection, demand forecasting, credit risk analysis, and product recommendation. The Kumo AI founding team joined NVIDIA last month, but NVIDIA has declined to comment as of now.
