PANews reported on June 8th that WeChat Open Platform released guidelines for developers to access the WeChat AI ecosystem, allowing mini-programs to independently authorize access through the "Mini-Program Management Backend - AI Capabilities". The platform offers two options: automatic mode and development mode. Automatic mode allows the platform to read the mini-program's source code and automatically analyze the pages during the submission process, enabling direct operation by WeChat AI. Development mode allows developers to develop their own mini-programs according to their business characteristics, which are then evaluated and approved before being used by WeChat AI. Both modes can be enabled simultaneously, and access does not affect existing mini-program services. Currently, the entire system is still in the internal testing phase, and ordinary users cannot experience it yet.
