The statement said that Israel, with the support of the United States, has committed crimes of aggression and other offenses in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut. The Iranian armed forces responded strongly to Israel in solidarity with the oppressed Lebanese people. This response should teach Israel and its supporters a lesson. The statement declared that the Iranian armed forces have ceased operations—but if the enemy continues its crimes of aggression and other offenses, Iran will take even harsher and more devastating countermeasures.
