PANews reported on June 15th that Polygon Labs announced it will delist the Polygon zkEVM Mainnet Beta sequencer on July 1st, 2026, a timeline first announced in June 2025. The official notice reminds users that on-chain wallet assets must be bridged to the Ethereum mainnet via ui.agglayer.dev before this date. Balances in on-chain wallets that are not bridged in time will be automatically migrated to Ethereum L1, and can be claimed later through a dedicated interface. Polygon emphasizes that it does not control any DeFi protocols on zkEVM; assets locked in DeFi contracts cannot be automatically migrated. Protocol teams and users must actively withdraw and migrate liquidity before July 1st. Unclaimed automatically migrated assets will be considered abandoned after December 31st, 2027.
