PANews, June 18 – According to Gulf News, Changer.ae, a licensed virtual asset custodian in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), has signed a one-year non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DeScript Labs (PayTheFly), a digital asset settlement and merchant technology company. The two parties will combine Changer.ae’s compliant custody and asset conversion capabilities with DeScript Labs’ merchant technology (including PayTheFly) to explore a compliant pathway for merchants in high-value sectors such as UAE real estate, automobiles, and luxury goods to accept digital asset payments settled in AED fiat currency. They will also provide corporate clients with digital asset-to-fiat clearing and treasury solutions, reducing price volatility risks and improving local and cross-border settlement efficiency.
