PANews, June 22 – Franklin Templeton announced it has completed the acquisition of crypto asset investment management firm 250 Digital, including its entire team and all liquid cryptocurrency strategies previously managed by CoinFund. Franklin Templeton will also invest capital into related products. The firm has simultaneously established a dedicated active digital asset management division, Franklin Crypto, led by Christopher Perkins as Head and Seth Ginns as Chief Investment Officer, co-leading alongside Tony Pecore, a member of the Franklin Templeton Digital Assets investment team. Franklin Crypto will offer institutionally focused, actively managed cryptocurrency investment strategies built upon Franklin Templeton’s existing digital asset research and risk management framework.
