U.S. Secretary of State says toll system in Strait of Hormuz not feasible

PANews, June 25 news, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio said after meeting with Gulf Cooperation Council ministers, we had a very productive meeting. Gulf states expressed some serious concerns. Oman said they do not favor a toll system for the Strait of Hormuz. Gulf states completely do not support imposing transit fees in the strait. "Fees" and "tolls" are the same thing. Setting up a toll system in Hormuz is not feasible. It is unclear whether Iranian funds held by Qatar have been transferred, and the $300 billion reconstruction fund was not discussed at the GCC meeting. If negotiations with Iran fail to yield results, Trump still has multiple options. The United States is closely monitoring the Israel-Lebanon events. We hope Lebanon has a peaceful future and will soon facilitate the two countries to reach a commitment of intent.
