Nvidia Releases First Full-Stack Safety System for Robot 'Physical AI' Halos for Robotics

PANews June 25 news, according to NVIDIA’s official website, NVIDIA launches Halos for Robotics, the first full-stack open safety system for robots and “physical AI,” extending the Halos safety architecture already used in autonomous driving to industrial robots. The system provides industrial-grade AI compute and sensor connectivity with IGX Thor and Holoscan Sensor Bridge, supports safety functions and external perception control with Halos OS and Outside-In Safety Blueprint, and helps enterprises prepare for third-party certifications such as TÜV Rheinland, UL Solutions, and TÜV SÜD through the ANSI/ANAB-accredited Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab. Humanoid robot company Agility will be the first to integrate IGX Thor and Halos Core into its industrial humanoid robot Digit for safe human-robot collaboration in factory, warehouse, and logistics scenarios.
