PANews reported on April 14 that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided to extend the review period for the rule change proposal submitted by NYSE Arca. The proposal intends to allow Grayscale Ethereum Trust ETF and Mini Trust ETF to pledge Ethereum holdings. The rule was initially open for public comments on March 3, and no comments have been received so far. The SEC extended the review deadline from the original April 17 to June 1, 2025 to fully evaluate the proposal and related issues.
