US seeks to confiscate 12,700 Bitcoins in Chinese fraud case

PANews reported on October 14 that according to ZOOMER, the US government is filing a civil forfeiture lawsuit to recover 127,271 bitcoins (approximately US$12 billion). These funds are allegedly related to a transnational "pig butchering" scam case, and the main controller of the case is Chinese national Chen Zhi.
