PANews reported on December 26 that, according to South Korean media, the Korea Exchange will establish a working group to study extending trading hours to 12 hours. The proposal includes establishing pre-market and after-market trading sessions, extending trading hours to 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Currently, the Korea Exchange's normal trading hours are 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and the after-market session is 3:40 PM to 6:00 PM.
