PANews reported on August 20 that according to Forbes, Vigil Labs AI has completed US$5.7 million in financing and plans to develop an AI system specifically designed to enhance human traders. Nova led the seed round of financing, and Lux Capital, Pantera Capital, SV Angel, Soma Capital, Valor Equity Partners, Jack Altman, Kevin Hartz, Cyan Banister, Micky Malka and many well-known artificial intelligence researchers participated.
Kole Lee, founder of Vigil Labs AI, reportedly began building wealth through stock trading in high school before transitioning to cryptocurrency. He previously interned at Pantera Capital and led Stanford University's blockchain club. He successfully transformed his personal crypto investments into a fortune, and in 2024, he pushed Stanford's student fund, the Blyth Fund, to allocate 7% of its portfolio to Bitcoin. Lee stated that the market rewards intelligence and adaptability, and AI is the best way to amplify these qualities.
