PANews reported on October 29th that, according to the GitHub Blog , GitHub announced Agent HQ , unifying the scheduling of multiple agents across GitHub , VS Code, CLI , and mobile devices. It will also gradually integrate coding agents such as Anthropic , OpenAI , Google , Cognition , and xAI into the paid Copilot subscription. GitHub also launched the Mission Control dashboard, VS Code " Plan Mode ," AGENTS.md custom agents, the GitHub MCP Registry, and a public preview of Code Quality for enterprises , Copilot metrics dashboards, and an AI control plane for governance access and auditing. Copilot Pro+ users can try OpenAI Codex this week in VS Code Insiders .
