U.S. House of Representatives again proposes the establishment of an intergovernmental law enforcement team to combat illegal financing on digital asset platforms

PANews reported on March 28 that according to Coindesk, U.S. Representatives Zach Nunn (Republican from Iowa) and Jim Himes (Democratic from Connecticut) have once again proposed a bill to help combat illegal finance and terrorist financing on digital asset platforms, after the bill was passed by the House of Representatives last year but failed to make progress in the Senate before the end of the congressional session. The Financial Technology Protection Act (FTPA) proposes the establishment of an inter-governmental law enforcement agency group to help combat illegal cryptocurrency financing, which will include leaders and analysts in the cryptocurrency industry.
