PANews reported on May 15 that CryptoGames announced the establishment of its corporate venture capital arm CG Ventures, which plans to increase investment in Web3 and trading card fields.

It is reported that CryptoGames has previously invested in 17 companies in the Web3 field, and this time it will further expand to trading card related projects. CG Ventures will focus on investing in Web3 and card projects that have synergies with CryptoGames' business, focusing on the early and seed stages, and mainly direct equity investment. CryptoGames launched the blockchain card game "CryptoSpells" in 2019, and raised 900ETH, the highest record in Japan at the time, through crowdfunding. Since then, the company has also launched the Oasys-based "TCG Verse" and the NFT card store "TCG STORE".
