Rice Robotics to Launch RICE Token for AI Data Marketplace on TokenFi Launchpad

PANews reported on July 31st that Rice Robotics, the company behind the RICE AI platform, announced it will begin selling its RICE tokens through TokenFi Launchpad on August 5th. RICE will provide a decentralized data marketplace for AI robots, part of a broader effort to tokenize robot data and scale DePIN. The $750,000 pre-sale represents 10% of the total token supply of 1 billion, resulting in a valuation of $7.5 million. Launch partners include BNB Chain, DWF Labs, and Floki. The company's indoor delivery robots have been deployed at SoftBank's Tokyo headquarters, Mitsui Real Estate, and 7-Eleven stores in Japan, and are integrated with the 7-Now delivery system. RICE tokens will be used to incentivize data contributions, subscriptions to AI models, and platform governance, and will also be used to achieve deflation through fee buybacks. Earlier this year, the company secured $7 million in Pre-Series A funding from Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund and other institutions.
