PANews reported on April 2 that according to Cointelegraph, the latest report from Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) shows that IT technicians associated with North Korea are expanding their infiltration targets to blockchain companies outside the United States. As US regulatory scrutiny becomes stricter, these technical spies have mixed into British cryptocurrency projects. The report pointed out that although the United States is still the main target, increasingly stringent employment reviews have forced North Korean IT personnel to turn to non-US companies for job applications. These personnel build a global operating network by forging identities, and their infiltration range covers traditional network development and blockchain applications such as Solana and Anchor smart contracts.
