Nasdaq-listed company Bit Digital plans to increase its authorized share capital to 1 billion common shares to raise funds to continue to increase its holdings of ETH

PANews reported on July 26 that Nasdaq-listed company Bit Digital has issued a shareholder letter announcing that it plans to hold a shareholders' meeting on September 10, 2025, at which time a resolution will be passed to increase the company's authorized share capital from 340,000,000 common shares with a par value of $0.01 per share and 10,000,000 preferred shares with a par value of $0.01 per share (valued at a total of approximately $3.5 million) to 1,000,000,000 common shares with a par value of $0.01 per share and 10,000,000 preferred shares with a par value of $0.01 per share (valued at a total of approximately $10.1 million). The funds raised from the expansion of the share capital will be used to continue to increase ETH holdings.
