Tether and the city of Lugano, Switzerland, will invest up to $6.3 million to expand their Bitcoin program.

PANews reported on March 4th that, according to CoinDesk, Tether and the city of Lugano, Switzerland, have pledged up to 5 million Swiss francs (approximately US$6.3 million) to expand their Bitcoin initiative, aiming to establish Lugano as a global digital infrastructure hub. This plan builds upon the existing presence of over 400 merchants accepting Bitcoin and USDT payments.
