PANews reported on March 10 that Ying Yong, Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, delivered the Supreme People's Procuratorate's work report to the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress. The report stated that by 2025, efforts to combat money laundering will be intensified, with 3,259 people prosecuted for money laundering crimes involving virtual currencies and underground banks. The report also noted that 69,000 people will be prosecuted for telecommunications and online fraud.
