PANews reported on March 12 that Iran's newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stated: "All US military bases in the region should be immediately closed, as these bases will be attacked. We will never ignore the crimes committed by the enemy at the Minabu school. We will continue to maintain friendly relations with our neighbors, and our targets are limited to military bases, and we will continue to do so."
