Trump: If an agreement is reached, cooperation with Iran could be undertaken to recover and destroy its highly enriched uranium.

PANews reported on June 7th, citing NBC News, that US President Trump stated that if an agreement could be reached with Iran to end the three-month-long war between the two countries, the US would cooperate with Iran to recover and destroy its highly enriched uranium. If no agreement is reached, the US will further weaken Iran's military capabilities until the US military can safely recover these nuclear materials on its own. Trump also stated that the US can track related activities through its Space Force's monitoring capabilities. Trump said the two sides are "very close" to signing an agreement, but he still demands more concessions from Iran regarding abandoning its nuclear program. Trump stated that he wants to add a clause to prevent Iran from circumventing the agreement's restrictions. Trump said the original agreement included a clause prohibiting them from "developing" nuclear weapons, but he wants to include the words "purchase, acquire, or procure." He added that Iran initially "had some resistance" to this, "but then they didn't."
