The Ministry of State Security issued a security alert: Be wary of data security risks associated with "AI transfer stations".

PANews reported on June 8th that, according to CCTV News, the Ministry of State Security issued a security alert today, stating that with the rapid growth in demand for artificial intelligence applications, "AI transfer stations" providing bulk access to large-scale models from both domestic and international sources have quickly become popular in China. However, the current "AI transfer" market is rife with problems, with some "AI transfer stations" lacking operational qualifications and having weak security measures. Issues such as user privacy leaks and data resale occur frequently, and the data security risks cannot be ignored.

The "AI Transfer Station" acts as a proxy layer between users and the official services of AI model vendors. It unifies the application programming interfaces (APIs) of various AI model vendors into a single platform and then provides them to users. In simpler terms, the "AI Transfer Station" is an intermediary between users and large AI models, helping users to more easily access multiple large AI models and meeting diverse user needs in a one-stop manner.
