A-shares closed: The ChiNext index rose 1.72% after an initial surge, while PCB concept stocks collectively rose.

PANews, June 16th - According to Cailian Press, the market rallied and then retreated, with the three major indices showing mixed results. The Shanghai Composite Index closed lower, while the ChiNext Index had previously risen by over 2.5%. The combined turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges reached 3.06 trillion yuan, an increase of 33.5 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. On the market, hot sectors rotated rapidly, with over 2,700 stocks rising and over 100 hitting their daily limit. In terms of sectors, the PCB concept surged, with over ten constituent stocks hitting their daily limit. Huazheng New Material and Nord Technology achieved two consecutive daily limit increases, while Xingsen Technology and Shandong Fiberglass also hit their daily limit, reaching new historical highs. The power grid equipment sector was active, with China XD Electric achieving two consecutive daily limit increases, and Wangbian Electric and Changcheng Electric also hitting their daily limit. The optical communication concept repeatedly strengthened, with Taicheng Optoelectronics rising over 15% to a new historical high. The fiber optic concept rallied, with Yongding Technology hitting its daily limit and Hangzhou Electric achieving two consecutive daily limit increases. The rare earth permanent magnet concept rallied intraday, with Shenghe Resources hitting its daily limit. On the downside, the port and shipping sector experienced volatile adjustments, with COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation, Ningbo Ocean Shipping, and Nanjing Port all declining. At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.11%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.93%, and the ChiNext Index rose 1.72%.
