PANews reported on January 29 that venture capital funds in the crypto sector have reached US$1.14 billion so far in January, and is expected to achieve a 100% increase compared to January 2024 (US$653.3 million).

For cryptocurrencies and smaller projects, the metric of small to medium-sized funding is more important as it shows the level of confidence and enthusiasm for startups. Funding levels are now back to “normal” levels, with funding rounds ranging from $1.5 million, with multiple projects raising between $10 million and $25 million.

According to statistics, the amount of financing in the crypto field in 2024 will be between US$11.5 billion and US$13.6 billion. Optimistic forecasts predict that venture capital funds will reach as high as US$18 billion in the coming year.
