PANews reported on January 5th that, according to crypto detective ZachXBT, hardware wallet provider Ledger has suffered another data breach due to payment service provider Global-e leaking customer personal data (names and contact information). Earlier today, some users received an email notification from Global-e stating: "Global-e's cloud system experienced unusual activity. Although measures have been taken to control and harden the system, the investigation confirms that some Ledger customers' personal information was improperly accessed. The incident is still under further investigation."
