PANews reported on April 26 that according to Cointelegraph, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis tweeted that the Fed's withdrawal of cryptocurrency guidance is just empty talk, not real progress. Cynthia Lummis pointed out that the Fed's policy statement on Bitcoin and digital assets being considered "unsafe and unsound" has not been withdrawn. She also reiterated that many of the staff behind "Operation Chokepoint 2.0" are still involved in crypto policy today.
