PANews, June 18 — Canadian Bitcoin mining company HIVE’s BUZZ High Performance Computing (BUZZ HPC) has entered into a three-year sovereign AI infrastructure partnership with Bell AI Fabric and Cohere Inc., signing GPU cloud contracts totaling approximately $220 million. BUZZ HPC will deploy an NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 rack-scale system consisting of 2,304 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs at Bell’s data center in Merritt, British Columbia, Canada, to support Cohere’s foundation models and enterprise-grade AI solutions. This will provide Canadian government and enterprise customers with an integrated sovereign AI cloud platform featuring “domestic Canadian connectivity + computing infrastructure + AI models.” HIVE will partially fund the GPU equipment purchase using the $115 million convertible note financing to be completed in April 2026.
