PANews reported on January 20th that, according to The Verge citing data from TechCrunch and Similarweb, as of January 7th, Meta's Threads had 141.5 million daily active mobile users, surpassing X platform's 125 million for the first time. However, on the web, X still dominates, with an average of 145.4 million daily pageviews as of January 13th, compared to Threads' mere 8.5 million. Despite Threads' global leadership in mobile, its total daily active users (150 million) are still far lower than X's 270 million.
Threads' daily active users on mobile surpass those of X, but its overall user base is still far below X's 270 million.
