Regardless of Trump's choice, the next Fed Chairman will take over an institution at a critical juncture, at the center of the president's unprecedented pressure campaign to drastically lower interest rates. The prediction market Kalshi currently rates Kevin Warsh 41% as Fed Chairman, Kevin Hassett 39%, and Christopher Waller 12%.
