U.S. Treasury Eases Restrictions on Iran Energy-Related Transactions Until August 21

PANews, June 22 — The U.S. Department of the Treasury has issued a general license authorizing, through August 21, transactions involving the production, transportation, and sale of Iranian-origin crude oil, petrochemicals, and petroleum products. The document shows that the general license covers transactions allowing the importation of Iranian-origin crude oil, petrochemicals, and petroleum products into the United States.
