President Trump's inauguration breaks viewing record, Rumble draws 5.5 million views

PANews reported on January 26 that according to information released by Trump on social media, his presidential inauguration set a historical viewing record. According to data from Streams Charts, YouTube News Channel's coverage of the ceremony attracted 9.6 million views, setting an "all-time viewing record." In addition, his X account live broadcast the ceremony, which received a staggering 36.7 million views.

Combined with television audience data, an estimated 80.7 million people watched the inauguration, far exceeding the record of 42 million viewers for President Reagan's inauguration in 1981.

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski recently said on the X platform that the traditional media ratings of Trump's inauguration ceremony reportedly dropped by more than 20%. At the same time, the video platform Rumble's related live broadcasts had 5.5 million views.
